2026 Season Information

Registration fee is $200 per child (20% total registration fees for two or more children), limited scholarships are available.

Football Team Age Groups: 

Pee Wee Tackle Football Ages 7-9

Junior Tackle Football Ages 10-11

Senior Tackle Football Ages 12-14 (Up to 8th Grade)

• Practices Monday - Friday 5:30pm - 7:30pm (2 Hour) starting August 3rd, 2026 (First Two Weeks of Season)

• Reduced practice days begin the week of August 17th - Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday

• Jamboree Pre-Season (Mini Football Games)

• Football Games are on Sundays

• Youth Night At 1 Home MMHS Spartan Friday Night Game (Spectators Entrance Cost $5)

Practices:

All practices will be held at Olympian Meadows in GB at the minor league baseball field. Our focus will be on fundamentals before the start of the season. Football teams are required to practice a certain number of hours without pads and helmets and with pads and helmets before the first game; therefore, attendance at all practices is expected. A copy of the schedule can be found here. When children are absent it stops the progress of the full team. We understand that illnesses and other conflicts will come up, so please communicate with your team's coach if you will be absence or late so we can alter the practice/game plan accordingly.

Practice Attire:

Football players should wear athletic clothes to practice and tennis sneakers (no jeans, crocs, or converse). They can bring a long sleeve or sweater for colder evenings. They should have a water bottle and small snack for every practice or game. Optionally, they may bring bug spray and sunblock as needed.

Football Shopping List

Games:

Games traditionally have been on Sundays beginning after Labor Day. The game schedule does not come out till the beginning of the season from the BCYFL. We will have a mix of home games and away games. The home games traditionally are held at Monument Mountain High School. We do travel to away games - which could include North Adams, Adams, Dalton, Pittsfield, Lee, or Lanesborough. Football Players are expected to be at games 1 hour before the game start to allow for warm ups and half time practice. Traditionally game times are Pee Wee 9:00am, Juniors 11:00am, and Seniors 1:00pm with arrival an hour prior.

Uniforms:

The league will be providing football uniforms - helmets, shoulder pads, jersey, pants, pants pads. All uniform pieces will need to be returned to the league at the end of the season.

Parents are asked to purchase the following items - Long socks, cleats, and black long sleeve undershirt for colder days as soon as possible.

Parent Participation:

Our league is completely ran by volunteers and funded with sponsors and donations therefore, there are times we call on our parents for help. One example is for helping run the concession stand at home games. Football Players will also have a minimum of 10 raffle tickets to sell and they may need your assistance. The league may also ask for water, chips, baked goods, crock pots, etc. donations for the concession stand.
